Message from VPR Imprex

When the novel Coronavirus began to emerge in Canada and the U.S.A, VPR Impex INC., manufacturer of ecological dry vapor cleaning systems, sent a memo to all of its customers and distributors reminding them of the efficiency of their VAPORE® ecological dry vapor cleaning technology against viruses and bacteria.

“We would like to remind you that SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYDNROME (SARS)/CORONAVIRUS is among the various Canadian scientific certifications we have. The certificate indicates the efficiency of our VAPORE technology against the virus on all surfaces.”

“We recommend you inform your clients in health care, schools, daycares, community spaces/public areas, sports facilities, hotels, transportation and others.”

“According to recent news headlines, the coronavirus has been found to be present in Canada and the USA; therefore we should take the initiative to offer our customers a solution which will help them control the proliferation of the virus.

The solution: “VAPORE” Ecological Vapor Cleaning Systems.”

“The Health Canada website gives this information as it pertains to the coronavirus:

How coronavirus infection spreads

Human coronaviruses cause infections of the nose, throat and lungs. They are most commonly spread from an infected person through:

  • the air by coughing and sneezing
  • close personal contact such as touching or shaking hands
  • touching something with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing your hands

Mario Ruffolo, president of VPR Impex INC., stated, “Our technology is the first line of defense when dealing with any bacteria, virus or microorganism. Before applying a disinfectant or sanitizing agent the surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free of residue. The disinfectant or sanitizer can then be applied to the surface and protect it. Our VAPORE® technology was tested in a Canadian research facility, and our scientific studies are available upon request. Among the various bacteria our technology was tested against, one of the studies includes the SARS/Coronavirus on various surfaces. At the high temperatures we yield at the exit nozzle, we not only clean in depth but we begin the disinfection process by eliminating residues and traces of bacteria and viruses.”

“All high contact areas can be treated with vapor including handrails, doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, faucets, telephone, computer keyboards and many more. This will help reduce the proliferation of the virus or bacteria on these surfaces in the aim to control the spread between people.”

The CDC and WHO, along with many other groups, give the following steps to protect yourself against the spread of the virus:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Practice respiratory hygiene
  • If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early

Although there is no vaccine, there is still a way to try to combat the spread of the virus and that is by properly cleaning surfaces frequently touched, practicing proper hygiene and physical/social distancing.
